Two New Zealand girls have won the national most innovative product or service award from the Enterprise Studies Program for developing a “perfume pen”.
Their invention is a combination of a standard ink pen and a perfume dispenser designed to allow women to cut down on clutter, and increase functionality from everyday objects. For their project the girls had to stick to a budget of $60 and produced sample pens that dispensed Dior, Ck, Elizabeth Arden, and Britney Spears fragrances.
In recognition for their achievement the girls won a cash prize of $850 and a two day trip to the national awards ceremony.
