Have you ever thought what an effortless Tweet can do to you? Never thought of it? I am sure if you are going to read this, you’ll give yourself a chance to Tweet and become famous.
It’s true that a simple Tweet can make you a hit; a rock star or a millionaire at least. OK, so I won’t keep you guessing anymore before you close this page.
Like many other users, who Tweet and share the status on Twitter from the color of their underwear to almost everything, Justin Halpern was also an unknown figure amidst the whole twitter population. Till this instant also you might not have come to know who is he, because we are just going to tell you that he did wonders with his Tweets and earned kudos along with millions. The 140 character Tweet changed his life.
Sorry, no, never! He didn’t use any of the tricks what you are murmuring right now. He neither sold an eBook, like I do, for a million; nor did he manage to sell any product through sales/marketing strategy. Then what he actually did?
He just followed his dad’s footsteps, which most of us do not, and made a name for quite sometime. Justin Halpern wouldn’t have dreamt that what actually his dad’s classy sayings could do for him? Justin, who runs a comedy Twitter feed that features some of his dad’s sacrilegious words of astuteness, sarcastic though, has just stroked a deal with famous Television channel CBS. And no wonders that until now he regarded his dad’s sayings as worthless.
Halpern owns a Twitter account by the name @shitmydadsays and he runs a comedy feed that features his 79 year-old dad’s sayings. An amazing fan following of 75,000 probably makes someone a star, and yes it did for him too. Justin got noticed and soon became an overnight star. It was reported in media that he signed a deal with CBS where he will be the TV producer of the show based on his feed. If the managements and executives are happy with Justin’s creativity, which actually is his dad’s sarcasm, this show will find a place on CBS as a bona fide series.
This Tweet of Justin will give you an idea of what his father did for him in a hilarious way.
“Son, no one gives ash*t about all the things your cell phone does. You didn’t invent it, you just bought it. Anybody can do that.”
This all started some four months back when Justin moved back with his churlish dad in San Diego. Since then they have been sharing these hilarious conversations with the Twitter world. Here are some of Justin’s old man’s advices.
“You worry too much. Eat some bacon… What? No, I got no idea if it’ll make you feel better; I just made too much bacon.”
“The baby will talk when he talks, relax. It ain’t like he knows the cure for cancer and he just ain’t spitting it out.”
“You look just like Stephen Hawking… Relax, I meant like a non-paralyzed version of him. Feel better?… Fine. Forget I said it.”
So if you know someone who rants all day don’t tell him that you don’t take no sh*t from anyone, think twice. His sh*t might make you rich!
What do you say?
