A well known department store in Tunbridge Wells was targeted by thieves who stole over 10,000 Euros worth of name brand perfumes. Police believe the 4 men made their getaway in a stolen black BMW. I don’t know if this story is more of a reflection on the terrible economy or the out of control prices of department store perfumes.
Granted burglary will always be a part of life, I operate a retail location and am not immune to thieves; however I can’t remember a recent incident where this amount of perfume was stolen. Best of luck to the Tunbridge police in catching these upscale crooks!
