Make a reach with CoTweet: Twitter launches its paid service! cotweet

Twitter comes out with a new initiative of CoTweet to help various businesses to manage their accounts. But this will come only for those who pay an extra buck to make their presence felt on twitter. Yes, Twitter has extended its hand to some paying customers like McDonald’s, Ford and SunTrust to have a go on CoTweet service.

The San Francisco based establishment remarked sometimes back that a whooping $1.1 million, which was spent on funding, will make some of its offerings as ‘paid services’ in the coming future.

peter_andre_396230aIn the other corner we have Peter Andre. Sometimes musician and ex-husband of Katie Price; no wonder there is a feud.

Andre is launching a perfume called “Unconditional” aptly named after the first single on his new CD. Interesting cross marketing, however here is where things begin to falter. When asked to describe his new scent he described it as smelling like Lilly Allen if she were a perfume.

The problem of course is that anyone familiar with the drunken debauchery of tabloid darling Lilly Allen probably doesn’t want to smell like her.

kpIt’s dueling British celebs this week, and believe it or not both have a stake in the perfume business. In the first corner we have Katie Price who has gone on record stating that she doesn’t wear her own fragrances.

This is a black eye on the already flakey vogue trend of celebrity fragrances. Don’t get me wrong, some celebrity fragrances are quite good, and usually represent a good value; however it’s becoming a saturated market. Which begs the question if Miss. Price can’t even be bothered to wear her own fragrance then why should other women?

If sales figures from several leading retailers are any indication then Katie Price isn’t the only one not wearing her brand of perfume.
